My name is Trey, and I’m the VP of Marketing for Mercantile Commercial Capital. We’re a commercial mortgage lender, and we rely on direct and creative marketing to drive our business. We’ve been pretty successful at it, and we have the awards, accolades and net profit to prove it. When it comes right down to it, nothing happens in your business until you make a sale. I firmly believe that a sale will not be made without doing marketing of some sort. Unfortunately, marketing is usually one of the first things to go when business slows, whether it’s related to a down economy or not. If you hope to be successful, you can’t afford to let that happen to you. This blog began as a monthly column in our company newsmagazine. The response has been overwhelming, so I’ve created this blog to augment my monthly column. You’ll be able to read those columns here, as well as additional thoughts, ideas and strategies that won’t fit in the printed publication. I hope you find the musings here helpful. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment or two.
